Anne Marie is a partner at Smith Pauley. She has maintained a national practice representing both plaintiffs and Fortune 500 companies in multiple state and federal courtrooms as lead trial counsel for the past 30+ years. Anne Marie has extensive experience in the following areas of litigation: transportation; construction/contract; employment; sexual abuse/harassment; business/corporate; insurance; products liability; asbestos/toxic tort; and complex, multi-state civil disputes.     

She is a Board Member of the Werner Institute for Alternative Dispute Resolution at Creighton University Law School.  Anne Marie teaches 40 hours biennially at a national trial college, and she will teach an 8 hour online class in Dispute Resolution sponsored by Creighton in 2025. Anne Marie is a trained arbitrator and mediator, and currently serves as a federally approved FINRA arbitrator. She has been repeatedly recognized as a “Lawyer of Distinction,” a title awarded to less than 1% of lawyers nationwide - among other honors voted on by her peers.
